| Decoding your strange medical symptoms
You're showering after a workout at the gym when you notice something strange. There's a weird rash on your leg, a bump on your navel or maybe just a couple of indentations on your nail. It definitely isn't normal. But is it a sign of something serious? Knowing what your body is trying to tell you isn't easy, especially when it comes to more unusual symptoms like these. In some instances, such as a proclivity for sneezing when exposed to sunlight, there's nothing to worry about. It's simply a reflex. A diagonal crease on your earlobe, however, could be a signal that you're at an increased risk for coronary heart disease or diabetes. .
Portman Nat for marriage
Thank goodness for the beauty and sanity of Natalie Portman who has confirmed she wont be getting married EVER. And thats not a euphemism for her liking lady-love not in these days of same-sex marriage its simply she feels she doesnt need a piece of paper to prove her commitment. The pert perfectness of single Nat left us gutted when she admitted: I'm into monogamy. Boo. But things brightened when she said: But I'm not really into marriage. I sort of hate the legal aspect of it. What does the state have to do with it? Yes! Exactly; tied down, no way out, captured thats what marriage stands for! Romantically linked in the past to Scrubs star Zach Braff, baldy electro-balladeer Moby and Mexico premier actor, Gael Garcia Bernal, Portman has strong views on relationships.

2nd evangelist resigns from ORU's board
ORU announced Tuesday that another evangelist has resigned from its board of regents, and the board continued its work to sever the university from its founding ministry. In a statement released Tuesday, Oral Roberts University announced that Louisiana minister Jesse Duplantis had resigned from the board. Duplantis said in a letter to the board: "The demands of ministry have made it increasingly difficult to continue to effectively serve on the Board of Regents of ORU." One regent, evangelist Creflo Dollar, resigned from the board recently, and another, evangelist Benny Hinn, lost his status as a voting member of the board. Both had refused to respond to a U.S. Senate inquiry into lavish spending by evangelists. The board now has .

House and Senate members whose districts are in each congressional district participate in the vote, usually by secret ballot. In Anderson's case, 14 Republicans and 14 Democrats will decide. And two Democratic names have been floated as opponents to the Statesboro resident. But on Thursday, Anderson may have picked up some bipartisan support. Before the governor spoke, state Sen. Regina Thomas of Savannah, a Democrat, told the crowd to expect "the status quo" after the dust has settled. Japanese veteran haunted by WWII surgical killings in Mindanao
The combat doctor would tell him to watch as he sliced open a hostage's stomach, a scene that Makino says made him so ill he couldn't eat or drink for days afterwards. "When cooking chicken, the doctor would get amused and say, 'Oh, this is just like human intestines,'" he said. But Makino said he eventually became accustomed to what he had to do. "I was desperate," he said. "I didn't want to do anything like that if possible. But I had to follow the orders of my superior as a military man, otherwise I'd have been beaten up." He could not put a definitive number on how many of the 50 people the unit killed were vivisected or how many of the operations he took part in. He did say he could never forget those days on the tropical island and even six decades later he could barely talk about his experiences without breaking down.
At Indiana, the rules are fine, but winning is better
The action came after a confrontation between Knight and a student that violated a previous zero-tolerance policy that Brand had established. Davis, who succeeded Knight, was in a hopeless position, even though he took Indiana to the national championship game in the 2002 season. He was too young, too new, too fresh to make an imprint at Indiana. But Sampson has weight. He had history of success at Oklahoma. He has a touch of the wheeler-dealer - enough to have landed Oklahoma on probation and thrown Indiana into an investigation. Knight went by the NCAA book, but he also threw the book - and chairs. There is a laundry list of embarrassments to the university that led to his dismissal. (He outraged women's groups in a 1988 interview with Connie Chung when he said, "I think that if rape is inevitable, relax and enjoy it.") Sampson coaches a style of play that fans want to watch and players like to play.
