J.D. Power and Associates Reports: Portable Navigation Device Owners ...
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly two-thirds of portable navigation device (PND) owners have experienced a problem, yet 95 percent still say that their device meets or exceeds their expectations, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Portable Navigation Device Usage and Satisfaction Study(SM) released today. The inaugural study measures customer satisfaction with automotive portable navigation devices by examining six factors: ease of use, routing, system appearance, speed of system, voice directions and navigation display screen. Consumers report the highest levels of satisfaction for the overall appearance and voice directions, while system speed receives the lowest satisfaction ratings. The study finds that the incidence of problems among portable navigation device owners is particularly high at 255 problems per 100 (PP100) units.
Are Canada's athletes receiving enough funding?
Kids in sports are always better students its been proven year in and year out, so to establish good role models as apposed to the junk they watch coming out of Hollywood!! Pro athletes is not what we are talking about here, we are talking about an elite amateur athlete that gets no breaks and needs to be a waiter and train in order to try and represent his or her country. We are so quick to just accept millions of dollars worth of renovations??? for a building when it takes a hundred thousand only to build a house from the ground up. Money is being blown by the Goverment on frivoulous things and so why not amateur athletes as well??? .
Obama Claims Wellstone’s Legacy
She was wife and partner of a pro-business Democratic President who continued the gravely misguided deregulation started by Reagan, made little progress for programs for the people, supported disastrous pro-business trade policies and failed to take advantage of his historic opportunity to dismantle the cold war budgets, programs and alliances. This contrasts with Obama's history as a community organizer in Chicago and as a progressive state legislator and leader on campaign reform. This contrast gives reason to think that Obama in office would be more open and responsive to pressure from the people. Second, on the central issue of the Iraq war, Clinton voted for the war, Obama spoke out against it. Clinton refuses to commit to getting all troops out of Iraq; Obama has come around to saying that is what he will do, in the first year.
O2 BARS SET FRENCH OFFICIALS SNIFFING
PARIS, Feb 13, 2008 (AFP) - As oxygen bars begin to pop up across France, health authorities are beginning to question the merits or otherwise of sniffing O2. Supposed to improve health and well-being, oxygen bars date back to the late 1990s, spreading from Canada to California and to Britain and Japan, in nightclubs, health clubs, airports or even trade fairs. But Paris' first oxygen bar opened only last week. Flagged as "a revolutionary anti-fatigue, anti-stress and anti-depression concept", the city's maiden O2 bar is housed in an up-market beauty institute owned by no less than the wife of top French publicist and political "kingmaker" Jacques Seguela. Seguela has been very much in the news recently for bringing together President Nicolas Sarkozy and his new wife Carla Bruni around a dinner table, a coup that comes almost three decades after helping propel leftwing leader Francois Mitterrand to the country's highest public office.
Witnesses Describe Shooting Scene
Yes, more guns, in law abiding citizens hands could have led to fewer deaths, and these insane "Gun Free Zones" need to go, that only prevents the good guys from not carrying his or her gun into these gun free zones to protect themselves, the bad guys will always break the laws. If you outlaw guns only outlaws will have guns, think about it. Posted by: Stephanie Location: Iowa on Dec 6, 2007 at 06:31 PM My thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and families as well. I pray for all the families this Christmas and pray they can get through with this all soon! I'm moving to Omaha soon, so Omaha is like my new soon to be home away from home. This hits home for even those not living there. Lots of people here are praying for everyone as well!
